I have tried ExpressSCH/PCB and Eagle but don't like them at all.

Do a yahoo search for "free pcb software. There are loads of them. However, all of these are somewhat crippled and cannot do at much as Altium or Mentor Graphics products. You need to live with the limitations when you get it for free.

No Cadence, Mentor, and Altium all are professional grade PCB layout softwares.
They all cost thousands of dollars to use and maintain per year.

Sorry, but you probably don't need anything more for the hobby level than ExpressPCB or Eagle.

Make alot of money, then you can buy one of the good ones.

BTW, PADS is old and not really well supported by Mentor and they discourage use of it.
They prefer that you migrate to Expedition. It too costs thousands of dollars !
