ok so i am new to robotics and i am trying to build a snake robot with a parallax mico controller and 12 servos. everything was going great and it was working fine when one day it started like resetting itself in the random parts of the program. i don't know whats wrong with it. i tried replacing the board, rewriting the program in the BASIC Stamp editor, and even installing diodes so that i knew the servos weren't sending a signal back to the board telling it to reset. ( i don't know if that's a thing that happens but i did it just in case.) still no change in the robots behavior. if any one can help or tell me something to try it would be greatly appreciated.

What changed between the last known good version and now?  In the future, archive working versions so that you can go back to a stable version.

What is the power supply like?

Try powering the micro from a different battery than the servos.  You will need to have a common ground.  My thought is that the initial power required by the servo could cause a momentary voltage drop which resets the micro.  Adding several 100 uF of capacitance on the power lines near the micro may help too.
