i do not need a phone that texts.  i do not need one that will go on the internet.  i do not need one that will allow me to talk for hours.  i travel for work.  i just need one that if i have a flat tire i can contact someone.  as it is now everytime i need it i forgot to charge the dang thing,
i own a solar calculator that never goes dead when i need it.  wise guy

Because the suits don't believe that there is a market for one.  If you pass on the idea I'm sure that someone will at least test it.

Don't worry they can still trace you weather is charge or not, Solar is what we need instead of Nuclear Power have we not been warned enough as to how dangerous this sh#te is even Japan latest melt downs and the destruction that it will leave for 1,000s of years will we never learn?

Actually Samsung produced a Solar powered mobile phone a couple of years ago still there are solar powered chargers that are easy to get.

what if you have a flat tire and its raining

you do realize that its not like cell phones are powered by a coal power plant, right? you can charge a battery any way you want to. its even pretty easy to make some minor modifications to a solar poweresd calculator so that it recharges a lithium battery
