I am assuming since the distributor has a vane switch or hall effect sensor, the vehicle will not have a crankshaft position sensor. There would be no point. It almost appears that Chrysler had 2 different ignition systems that year. A crankshaft position sensor would only be used if the vehicle had no distributor. Is this a logical assumption? Answer only if you have experience in the matter.

If I am reading this correctly - you are asking if there is a crank position sensor?  If that is what you are asking then NO.  I have Alldata infront of me and it does not show one.
