what kind of engineers deal with the newest technology like working for apple or dell or something?

If you want to work for Apple or Dell, computer engineering or electrical engineering will be the most likely. But all engineering fields have opportunities working with new technology. Technology isn't just limited to computers and consumer devices.

All of them.
All of the fields have companies that are woking on or are involved with new technologies.
