For our science research, our topic is technology that helps the earth (or something like that), our first option was coconut leaves but we found out that it is already made. So, is there a possibility? Or something you can suggest?

One can probably make paper out of bamboo leaves, but not economically. Bamboo stems make ok paper, more tissue-like than writing quality.
