Whats a good HDTV for me?

So ima get an HDTV soon. But im so confused. I am going to us this for:
-play HD games on Playstation 3.
-Watch HD youtube videos.
-connect my Mac for second display
I've had experience with the new Sony Google HDTV, I do like it because of the controller and how easy it is to go online with it.
But what I dont like is that its a little slow when witching channels or switching from tv to youtube or netflix. Also I dont think 60hz is fast enough to see video games clear when im playing games.
I was looking at the Sony 40" EX720 looks pretty cool but, I was wondering how good is it with internet and youtube and stuff.
and if i would get this Sony would it be also good to get te 400 dollar google tv adapter?
what HDTV's do you guys recommend?

Save your money. HD doesn't improve the shows, it just costs you money.

120hz is a "no-no" for gaming.
One thing you do want to insist on is a 60hz screen.
The process of "faking" those extra 60 or 180hz adds lags. Most 120hz TV's come with a "game mode" that puts the screen back to 60hz.
Don't bother with the Google TV, your PS3 will do more then it will. You can get a keyboard for it, if you like.
Other things to consider
- name brand: Sony, Samsung, Panisonic, LG, sharp
Not: RCA, Dynex, westinghouse, GE, etc
- 1080p. Many of your PS3 games will be 720p, but for your mac, you'll want 1080p.
- LED or Plasma (over LCD or DLP).
