For each of the step including building an application (for me mostly - web) I really need tips on how to improve them so I start working really really fast and be able to generate all the required functions in an application like in one day instead of a week.

What I do in my software development classes is just save all of my source code into folders and separate files that can be included into whatever other project I need to use it for. Once you have code written, all it takes is copy and paste and then a bit of modification to fit the specific problem. Also, lots of coding practice helps in creating every required function for a specific project; in reality (and in some of work I do) it takes a couple of days and a team of several programmers to get all of the functions we need for projects just defined as prototypes and then another couple of days to implement those prototypes.

Hi kolibrizas, it's been a long time since I answered one of your questions. All I can recommend is building a comprehensive code snippets library. Try to use common includes and functions - even HTML code that you can draw on to assemble your project. I'm sure you do this anyway, but most designers have a vast library of snippets to speed things up.

I use a program called Codebank to keep control of my snippets:
